Day
9 (Sun) - Hassan
Morning excursion to Sravanabelagola. One has to walk over 600 steps to reach the hilltop
to see the 1000 year old statue considered one of the tallest (17 m) and most graceful
sculptures in the world. Afternoon visit Belur and Halebid temples. The visual is often
described as the Ôjewel boxÕ of Hoysala temple architecture.
Day 10 (Mon) - Hassan/Hospet
Drive to Hospet. Check in at hotel. Oernight stay.
Day 11 (Tue) - Hospet
Full day visit Vijayanagra, ÔThe town of VictoryÕ. This world heritage site is the
largest medieval city in India, spread across 26 square kilometres. The site has ruins of
the great empire strewn across it with many a delightful surprises.
Day 12 (Wed) - Aihole/Pattadakkal/Badami
Drive to Badami visiting Aihole enroute - temple town dating back to 600 AD and
Pattadakkal - with an impressive series of Hindu temples from 7th and 8th centuries AD.
Check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Badami, noteworthy for its four cave temples with fine
sculptures.
Day 13 (Thu) - Badami/Goa
Drive to Goa. Check in at your resort.
Day 14 - Goa
Free to relax on beach or independent activities.
Day 15 - Goa
Transfer to airport for chartered flight departure to London.
