One of the most beautiful places in India, Ladakh is the highest plateau in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. An exotic tourist destination in the Himalayas, also known as ‘land of high passes’, Ladakh comprises valley, snow-capped mountains and many other attractive spots. The region is very popular among tourists, hikers and bikers. Leh is the main town of Ladakh housing many tourist attractions. Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas are attractive tourist places in the region.

Situated on the top of a hill, Shey Gompa houses the largest victory stupa, where statues are made of copper and glided with gold. Thiksey Gompa gives a beautiful panoramic view of Indus Valley. For art-lovers, this Gompa also houses very exciting wall paintings. The oldest, wealthiest and largest Gompa in Leh, Hemis also has beautiful paintings.

In Nubra Valley, you will see Diskit Monastery, which give you a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and Hunder Monastery. Leh also houses Shanti Stupa and a 9-storey Leh Palace. Pangong is the highest salt water Lake shared by two countries India & China.

Day 1: Arrive Leh

After reaching Leh airport (on your own), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization.

Overnight in Leh.

Day 2 : Leh

Excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas. Shey Gompa lies on the way to Hemis. It is situated on the top of a hill and houses the largest victory stupa with a golden top. The statues made of copper and glided with gold are worthseeing. Thiksey Gompa lies on the left side of this road to Hemis. One can have a beautiful view of Indus Valley from the Gompa. Wall paintings of this Gompa are very interesting. From here drive to Hemis which is the oldest, wealthiest and largest Gompa in Leh with beautiful paintings stu-pas.

Overnight in Leh

Day 3 : Leh – Nubra Valley

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motor able road in the World, 18,380 ft) arrive Nubra and transfer to camp .Evening: Free for surroundings. 

Overnight in Nubrah

Day 4 : Nubra Valley – Leh

After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery, where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and Hunder Monastery than drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. h

Evening: visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese, Leh Palace it is situated on a hillock. It was built by Sengge Namgyal it is a 9-storey Palace, A building in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture, said to have in-spired the famous Potala in Lhasa. 

Overnight in Leh.

Day 5 : Leh – Pangong Lake - Leh

After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong is the highest salt water Lake shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong Drive back to Leh by the same route. 

Overnight in Leh.

Day 6 : Depart Leh

In time transfer to Leh airport to board flight for next destination.
