The expedition fee includes:
  1. Peak Fee payable to Uttarakhand Government for climbing a particular peak will be in addition of IMF fee.
  2. Enroute Camping Site Fee and Trail Management Fee
  3. Service / Handling charges of the State Government
  4. Environmental Levy of State Government will be in addition of IM Environmental Levy.
  5. National Parks and Sanctuaries Fee, where applicable.
  6. Professional Filming Fee in National Parks and Sanctuaries, where applicable.
Norms for depositing Expedition Fees for Mountaineering in Uttarakhand
  1. All mixed expeditions will be considered foreign expeditions for the calculation of the expedition fee.
  2. An additional amount of 20% per head will be levied on the peak fee to the State Government by the IMF for the inclusion of every additional expedition member up to a maximum of 2 members beyond the 10 member’s team, in case of mixed expeditions.
  3. In case the expedition route falls through National Parks and Sanctuaries , the team will have to deposit an additional amount of Rs. 2000/ =as Entry Fee in National Parks and Sanctuaries.
  4. A security deposit of Rs. 10,000/ = for foreign expeditions and Rs. 5000/ = for Indian expeditions for bringing back the non-biodegradable waste generated at various camps is refundable on the termination of the expedition, if the local Range Officer at the ECP certifies the return of non - biodegradable garbage.
  5. Members of an expedition team desirous of commercial filming in National Parks and Sanctuaries need to apply individually along with the prescribed fee to the CWLW at the time when the expedition case is referred to the CWLW for intimation.

    The prescribed fee is given as follows:
