Overview

Hanuman Tibba or the White Moutntain is the highest mountain in the Dhauladar Range of Himachal Pradesh. The climb to the peak can be strenous and requires technical knowledage or previous mountainerring experience. Surrounded by incredible glaciers, the peak is a white pyramid with each side of the pyramid appearing different from each other.

The tougher legs of this trek begin after Bakarthach. From Bakarthach to Tentu Pass ( 4996 meters) is a mixed climb snow, ice and rock with the gradient up to 75° to 80°, which makes the climb difficult and exhaustive. After tentu Pass advance base camp and base camp are set up to make attempts for the summit.

Mt. Hanuman Tibba Expedition (5990 M) itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Met upon arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi – Manali

Morning drive to Manali. Arrive Manal by evening and check in to the hotel for overnight stay. Manali is a beautiful city located in the foothills of the mighty Himalayas.

Meal:- Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner

Day 3: Manali

Half/Full day sightseeing in Manali today. Visit Hadimba Devi temple, Old Manali and Mall road. Overnight stay in hotel at Manali.

Meal:- Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner

Day 4: Manali – Solang Nala - Dhundhi

Morning after breakfast drive to Solang Nala and trek to Dhundhi. Upon arrival in Dhundhi pitch the tent for overnight stay in camp. The peak is visible from Dhundhi.

Day 5: Dhundhi – Bakarthach 3330M

Morning after breakfast start your trek to Bakarthach. It is an uphill climb of about 4-5 hours through pine forests, grasslands, Beas river and moraines. Overnight stay at Bakarthach (Base camp).

Meal:- Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner

Day 6–13: Base Camp – Summit - Base Camp

Day 06 to day 13 will be spent to establish higher camps to attempt the summit. Descend to base camp after achieving the summit.

Meals: - N/A

Day 14: Base Camp – Dhundi

Morning after breakfast start trek down to Dhundhi. Overnight stay at tent.

Meal:- Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner

Day 15: Dhundi - Manali

Morning after relaxed breakfast ski down to Solang Nala and later drive to Manali. Upon arrival check-in the hotel for the overnight stay.

Meal:- Breakfast+ Lunch + Dinner

Day 16: Manali - Chandigarh

Morning after breakfast drive to Chandigarh and upon arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.

Meal:- Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 17: Manali – Delhi Departure

Morning in time transfer to railway station to board train to Delhi. On arrival Delhi in time transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination.

Price doesn't Includes:

  • Personal clothing and gears required for climbing by the clients
  • High altitude Porter & food
  • Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tip etc.
  • Climbing equipments
  • Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to or circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.
  • Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.
  • Camera Fees.
  • Any Cargo and Shipment Charges (Import and Custom Clearance)
  • Personal Belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks etc.


Please ensure your insurance covers you for the heights you are likely to attain and for helicopter rescue as well. When you have chosen and booked your insurance, please provide SHIKHAR TRAVELS with your Insurers name, their 24 hour emergency telephone number and your Policy number with them. Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.

General Conditions:

  • The prices are on Per Person basis, Nett & Non Commissionable.
  • Upon confirmation of the booking we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance amount can be paid 60 days prior to the date of arrival.
  • Class of travel on trains may change based on availability at the time of booking
  • All flight/train timings are based on current schedule and are strictly subject to change
  • All prices are subject to any revision of tax and tariff structure

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt. Ltd.

For cancellation made 4 weeks prior to the scheduled departure, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 4 weeks of scheduled departure, there will be cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.

In certain cases the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.

Unused Services & Refund

No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passenger while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.

Refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.

If there is any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.

Responsibility, Liability, Extra Cost, Prices and Brochure Accuracy - Changes and Errors

All the packages are sold under the business management of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes / riots, road block etc.

Governing Law

This conditions and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
