Mount Mulkila 6517 Meters (21,380ft) also known as Mount 4(M4) or the Silver God Mountain. It is the highest peak amongst the top 10 soaring peaks of the Lahaul - Spiti province of the state Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. The first ascent was made to Mt Mulkila in 1939 by a British-Austrian expedition team led by Ludwig Krenek.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel or IMF Delhi.

Overnight stay at hotel or IMF Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

Stay in Delhi for preparation of expedition and briefing with IMF Director and Liaison officer.

Day 03: Delhi – Manali (1950 M)

Today early morning drive to Manali. Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: Manali

Full day for acclimatization in Manali you can also visit Solang Nala and old Manali and Manali Town. Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Manali – Darcha

Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Darcha. Overnight in guest house at Darcha.

Day 06: Darcha - Transit Camp (3300 M)

Morning after breakfast start trek toward the base camp. We will establish Transit Camp at 3300m for overnight stay.

Day 07: Transit Camp - Base Camp Trek 5 -6 hrs

Today morning after breakfast we will continue with our trail up to base camp of Mt. Mulkila (6517 M). On arrival sat up the campsite for the night stay.

Overnight in Camp.

Day 08-19: Base Camp – Summit - Base Camp

Next 12 days for establishing higher camps and summit peak.

Day: 20 Base Camp - Korjok Village

Overnight stay at in village or tents.

Day 21: Korjok Village - Darcha - Manali

After breakfast we will start drive to Manali. Upon arrival in Manali check in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 22: Manali - Delhi

Upon arrival check in the hotel/IMF for overnight stay.

Day 23: Delhi

Morning after breakfast proceed for IMF De-briefing. Overnight stay in hotel/IMF.

Day 24: Delhi Departure

Today in time transfer to Delhi International airport to fly back home.

Delhi: Briefing and De-Briefing at Indian Mountaineering Foundation.

Manali: ABVP Institute of Mountaineering, Hadimba Devi temple, Mall Road & Old Manali

During Expedition: Chikka, Trekking, Climbing & Photography.

Price Includes:

  • Peak booking fee to IMF and relevant authorities
  • Liaison officer fees, Accommodation, Meals and Transportation (Delhi to Delhi)
  • Accommodation on Dbl/Twin Sharing Rooms in hotels/ guest house and camp as per program
  • All meals as per mentioned in the program
  • Accommodation in Tents during Approach March and at Base Camp i.e. one tent for 2 person
  • Transportation by tempo traveler Delhi and Non AC Jeeps In mountains as per program
  • First aid kit
  • Services of Escort, Cooks, Helpers. Camping staff and Porters or Ponies till Upper base camp during the expedition
  • Complete kitchen and camp equipments including camp staff till base camp
  • We will provide all Meals till base camp to Guest, All Staff & Liaison officer
  • All current taxes including Govt. service tax of 3.625%
  • Transportation of Members luggage from road head to Base Camp & Base Camp to road head by Pony or porters
  • Liaison officer Air fare if required

Note: Please ensure that your members are covered under Insurance as per your Government Rules. Our kitchen staff and escort will give you the accompany till base camp

Price Doesn't Includes:

  • Personal clothing and gears required for climbing by the clients
  • High altitude porter and High altitude food
  • Personal expenses such as table drinks, room’s services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tip etc
  • Climbing equipments
  • Any additional expenses caused by or liability for disturbance in trip program due to or circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc
  • Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods
  • Camera Fees
  • Any Cargo and Shipment Charges (Import and Custom Clearance)
  • Personal Belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks etc.

Please ensure your insurance covers you for the heights you are likely to attain and for helicopter rescue as well. When you have chosen and booked your insurance, please provide SHIKHAR TRAVELS with your Insurers name, their 24 hour emergency telephone number and your Policy number with them. Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.

General Conditions:

  • The prices are on Per Person basis, Nett & Non Commissionable
  • Upon confirmation of the booking we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance amount can be paid 60 days prior to the date of arrival
