Apart from world famous Carnatic Music, Karnataka is also a favourite destination for adventure lovers, who flock the state to enjoy trekking. An enchanting land, Karnataka abounds in pristine natural beauty, rich flora and flora and a number of thrilling trek routes. Nandi Hills (1,468 mts), Biligirirangana Hills, Kudremukh, Kemman Gundi and Mercara are the popular hills which offer a number of trails ranging from easier to moderate level with some steep climbs. If you really love trekking amidst the natural environs, then just plan a trip to Karnataka where over 200 trails in the Western Ghats are waiting to provide you fun of the lifetime.

Day 1 : Hosagadde - Shaale Mane
Morning there is a 20 min drive till the trek starting point. After crossing a bridge trek moves along a stream and continue with the view of paddy field, small village and Dabbe Falls on the way.

Day 2: Shale Mane - Docter Mane:
Today its 6 hrs trek. Trek is passes through check dam, water streams beneath a permanent bridge, unbleileavable forest and Kannor Fort. After exploring the fort for few hours we will trek down Docter Mane.

Day 3: Docter Mane - Gerusoppa:
Retrace your steps back to the curiouslooking piece of monument. Today its again a interesting trek passing passing through down and up hills. Path leads down into a stream. Crossing this stream to get other side can be quite difficult. After passing by couple of streams trek will final end on the bank of river Sharavathy. After crossing the river by boat for town Gerusoppa, from where you can catch a bus to Sagara.
