Kodagu (also called Coorge) about 1220m above sea level, this mist covered hill country that extends along the summits and slopes of the Wester Ghats and is criss-crossed by a network of rivers. Most of this is unexplored land and nearly 60% of the district is still covered with rain forest. District headquarter of the Coorg is Madikeri.

Day 1: Talathmane - Devastur:
Our trek will start from Talathmane, one amazing place in Coorg, just 500 m from Bhagamandala junction and 4km from Madikeri approachable by car/bus. We will start the trek from Talathmane and after 15km trek via Abbi Fall we will reach at Devastur for overnight camping.

Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary Trek

Lying at an elevation of 2900 mt. and has motorable road access up to Hilley. An easy 4 km trek from there takes one up to the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary. One can also trek from Soreng of Dentum in West Sikkim. The Sanctuary boast of over 40 variety of Rhododendron and during full bloom , the whole sanctuary looks colorful. The place provides a magnificent views of the mountains.

A Chandratal , also known as ‘Moon Lake’ is one of the most beautiful lakes in the region.
