Kedarnath Trek
Duration: 12 days

This trek is part of the ancient pilgrims' trail from Gangotri to Kedarnath in the tradition of vamvrata yatra that begins from Yamunotri and ends at Badrinath , after the paying of respects at the Gangotri and Kedarnath shrines. A magnificent temple was built by the Pandavas at the base of Kedarnath peak's southern eastern face. This trek offers very good view of range of Gangotri and Kedarnath mountain peaks.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi:
Met upon arrival at Delhi International Airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi - Rishikesh :
Drive to Rishikesh (225 km) via Haridwar. Rishikesh is known as 'Gateway to Himalayas' and center of Yoga & Meditation. In the afternoon visit various Ashrams and Temples. Enjoy the 'Ganga Aarti' in the evening. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3: Rishikesh - Guptakashi :
Morning drive Guptakashi via Rudraprayag by covering appox. 222 km. Arrive Guptakashi and check-in at tented resort for overnight stay.

Day 4: Guptakashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath :
Morning drive to Gaurikund which is the road head and start trekking to reach Kedarnath by covering appox. 14 kms. Kedarnath is Abode of Lord Shiva. Arrive and check into Tourist Bungalow for overnight stay.

Day 5: Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptakashi :
Morning after breakfast start return trek to reach Gaurikund by covering appox 14 kms. From Gaurikund, drive back to Guptakashi and check-into tented resort for overnight stay.

Day 6: Guptakashi - Trijujinarayan :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Trijuginarayan (1982 mt) by covering appox 09 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in Tents.

Day 7: Trijuginarayan - Magguchatti :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Magguchatti (3049 mt) by covering appox 09 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in Tents.

Day 8: Magguchatti - Panwalikantha :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Panwalikantha (3963 mt) by covering appox 15 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in Tents.

Day 9: Panwalikantha - Ghuttu :
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Ghuttu (1524 mt) covering appox. 08 kms. Arrive and overnight stay in Tents.

Day 10: Ghuttu - Rishikesh :
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Rishikesh by covering appox. 180 kms. Arrive and check into Hotel/Tourist Bungalow for overnight stay.

Day 11: Rishikesh - Delhi :
Drive 225 km to Delhi. En route stop at Haridwar to visit Har-Ki-Pauri Ghat. Continue driving to Delhi and on arrival check-into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: Depart Delhi :
Optional sightseeing of Delhi. Later departure transfer to international airport to board flight for onward destination.
