In\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 winters, mist carpets the\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 valleys but swirls around the traveller in hills\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 during summer rains, thus creating an enchanting and romantic atmosphere. The region has borders with Myanmar, Bhutan\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 and Bangladesh.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 The festivals and celebrations in the North- eastern states of India are a colourful reflection of the people and their lives. They are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 Each state is a traveller\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s paradise, with picturesque hills and green meadows which shelters\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0\u00c3\u201a\u00c2\u00a0 thousand of species of flora and fauna. In addition, the states provide scope for angling, boating,rafting, trekking and hiking.
