An easy and very interesting trek for enjoying the lush greenery, beautiful mountains, temples and remote villages of Himachal Pradesh. For large distances, the trek follows the ridge line separating inner and outer Seraj. You can stay in forest guest houses of which some are over 100 year and remind you of British ear. The guest book at these guest houses still mention of few royal visitors from past. A few days spent on this trail will remind you of the Raj.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Met on arrival at Delhi international Airport and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi- Chandigarh -Manali
Morning transfer to Railway station & depart by Shatabdi express to Chandigarh. Arrive Chandigarh and drive (310 km) to manali (1920 mt). Overnight stay in hotel / resort.
Day 3: Manali
Morning at leisure. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple and Vashist Hot water spring. Overnight stay in hotel / resort.
Day 4: Manali – Bangar - Soja: 120Kms.
Drive to Soja ( 2683 Mtrs.) via Bangar. The road runs parallel to hiking route to Jalori pass. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 5: Soja - Khanag :14 Kms Trek
Morning trek to Khanag (2530 mt) after crossing Jalori Pass 3250 Mt. The trek passes through forest of blue pine and deodar. overnight stay in tent.
Day 6: Khanag - Takrasi :16 Kms. Trek
Trek to Takrasi (3025 mt). An easy trek. In the evening visit Temples near the village. Overnight stay In tent.
Day 7: Takrasi - Chowai :15 Kms. Trek
Morning trek to Chowai. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 8: Chowai - Anni : 14 Kms. Trek
Trek (5-6 hrs) to Anni 1240Mt. overnight stay in tent.
Day 9: Anni - Luhari : 18 Kms. Trek
Trek to Luhari 792 Mt. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 10:Luhari - Shimla: 100 Kms.
Early Morning drive from Luhari to Shimla via Narkanda. On arrival at Shimla transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Kufri then evening free for shoping at mall road. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 11: Shimla - Delhi
Day free to explore Shimla town. Afternoon transfer to Kalka railway station and depart by Shatabdi express train to Delhi. Met on arrival at New Delhi railway statuion and transfer to the Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Depart Delhi
Day at leisure in Delhi. Optional sightseeing of Delhi. Later transfer to to international airport in time to board flight to onward destination.
