Home for Himalayan trout, Dodital Trek(3310 m) is one of the most beautiful lakes in Uttarakhand attracting many trekkers from around the world. It is named after Trout called ‘Dodi’ in the local language and these Dodi reside right here in the lake. Along with this, the place holds special belief among people as it is considered the holy birthplace of the Hindu god, Lord Ganesha. Here you’ll find a temple of Lord Ganesha near the lake and here people believe in worshiping power.
Day 01: Arrive Dehradun – Uttarkashi
Drive: 143 kms.
Time: 06 hrs.
Altitude: 1,158M
Morning arrives Dehradun Railway Station, meet our representative and drive to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in to the resort, later briefing will be given by our head mountaineering instructor. Dinner and overnight stay in the resort.

Day 02: Uttarkashi – Agoda – Bhewra
Drive: 16 kms.
Trek: 03 kms.
Time: 04 – 5hrs.
Altitude: 2,400M
After breakfast drive to the road head at Agoda Village (2,502 mt). Start your first day’s trek to Bhewra (2160 mt) a few km after Agoda (2050 mt.) by covering approx. 8 kms in 04 to 05 hrs. The trek passes through dense forest. Arrive at Bhewra and set-up camp near the waterfall for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Bhewra – Majhi – Dodital
Trek: 12 kms.
Time: 05 – 6hrs.
Altitude: 3,024M
After breakfast start your trek to Majhi. Stop here for lunch. Majhi has few Shephard hut and it offers very beautiful view of Darwa Top. After lunch continue Trek to Dodital (3024m), it will take approximately 4-5 hrs. to reach Dodital. Dodital is a beautiful lake surrounded by Pine, Deodar, Oak forest. Lake is full of Himalayan Golden Trouts.

Day 04: Dodital – Darwa top – Dodital
Trek: 05 kms.
Time: 03 – 4hrs.
Altitude: 4,150M
Morning after breakfast, we will go for a day excursion to Darwa Pass, from the pass you can see the snow-covered Bander Punch Range. Return to Dodital for lunch, Afternoon visit temple and explore Dodital lake. Overnight stay in the tent at Dodital.

Day 05: Dodital – Agoda – Uttarkashi
Trek: 19 kms.
Time: 05 – 06 hrs.
Drive: 16 kms.
Altitude: 1,158M
After early breakfast trek down to Sangam Chatti with packed lunch. On reaching the road head, drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Dehradun Departure
Drive: 143 kms.
Time: 06 hrs.
Morning after breakfast, check out from the resort and depart to Dehradun railway station.

HOW TO REACH DEHRADUN
People coming from Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, or Gujarat any other city, Arrive Delhi Delhi first, then you will get a train from Delhi for Dehradun.

Take both overnight trains Dehradun to from new Delhi- Dehradun Special A/C train from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station the best option to you. The train reached at Dehradun railway station morning 5:45 to 6:30 am
Option 02:- By Air

The bus leaves Dehradun from Delhi at around 9.00 pm. frequent buses are available until midnight. It is a journey of about 7 hours to 8 hours.
