One of the most magnificent peaks of the entire Himalayas is Mount Shivling. This beautiful giant conical shaped peak is considered very sacred in Hinduism. Many Pilgrims trek till Gomukh just to get that distant view of the peak. This is a twin summit peak that starts from Gangotri passing the snout of the holy river Ganga and then reaching base camp Tapovan. It is a tough climb as it requires the technical knowledge and past experience of 6000 plus expeditions.
