Overview

Nanda Kot is basically a high mountain peak of the robust Himalayan range which is situated in the district of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, India. This peak lies in the Kumaon Himalayan range, which is just outside of the peaks’ ring that has been enclosing the Sanctuary of Nanda Devi, which is around fifteen km in the southeast direction of Nanda Devi itself.
 
Mount Nanda Kot is one of the most popular mountaineering destinations in India. It has many peaks, ridges, and valleys that attract experienced climbers from all over the world. This expedition has been organized to take on a challenging expedition to Mount Nanda Kot, which had not been attempted frequently. The objective of this climb was not only to summit the peak but also to explore as many of its slopes and glaciers as possible. You can successfully complete your expedition by summiting Mount Nanda Kot without major incidents or injuries.
 
If you are extremely passionate about mountaineering and spending time outdoors, then you must have heard about the Mount Nanda Kot expedition. Mount Nanda Kot Expedition (6861 M) itinerary

Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI

Arrive Delhi Airport Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and & transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: DELHI - KATHGODAM     BY TRAIN

After relaxed breakfast at hotel and proceed for briefing with IMF Director and Liaison Officer of your Expedition. Later in the day catch the train to Kathcodam. Overnight journey by train.

Meal: Breakfast

Day 03: KATHGODAM - BAGESHWAR         DRIVE 170 KM

Arrive Kathgodam and board in the vehicle and drive to Bageshwar. Upon arrival check in the hotel.

Afternoon complete the legal formalities for the expedition. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 04: BAGESHWAR - LOHARKHET (1800 M)        DRIVE AND TREK

Morning after breakfast drive to Song and from here trek to Loharkhet. Loharkhet, a small hamlet on the banks of river Saryu. On arrival set out camp for overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 05: LOHARKHET - KHATI        DRIVE 15 KMS/TREK

Today morning after breakfast we will trek to Khati. Khati is the biggest village en-route Pindari. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 06: KHATI - PHURKIA                  TREK

Morning after breakfast trek to Phurkia. Phurkia, where the trees give way to alpine pastures and shepherds can be seen guiding their large flock across grazy uplands. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 07: PHURKIA - DWALI (BASE CAMP)             TREK

Today we will trek trek to Base camp which is Dwali. Dinner and overnight stay at base camp.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 08 – 24: BASE CAMP - SUMMIT MOUNT NANDA KOT - BASE CAMP

Next 14 days (Base camp to Base camp) for higher camps and attempt peak.

Meals: All meals at base camp

Day 25: BASE CAMP - DHAKURI               TREK

Today morning after breakfast trek back to Dhakuri. Overnight stay in camp at Dhakuri.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 26: DHAKURI - BAGESHWAR                 DRIVE 40 KM

Today we will trek up to Song and then further drive to Bageshwar. Dinner and overnight stay in Bageshwar at Hotel.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 27: BAGESHWAR - KATHGODAM - DELHI              DRIVE 170 KM & TRAIN

Early morning drive to Kathgodam and from here take a night train for Delhi. overnight journey.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 28: DELHI DEPART

Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel for check in. Later in the day visit IMF Delhi for (De-briefing) IMF Director. In time transfer to IGI airport Delhi to fly back home.
