Overview

Considered as a moderate to difficult mountain peak, Mt. Trishul is one of the most famous and challenging peaks which lies in the Uttarakhand region of Himalayas.  The peak is a combination of Trishul – 1 (7120 Mtr), Trishul – 2 ( 6690Mtr) and Trishul – 3 (6007 Mtr), most famous among them and have been frequently attempted by the climbers being Mt. Trishul-1.  The peak has been named after its shape which looks like Trishul, the weapon of  God Shiva.  As per the records, Trishul-1 was the first peak over 7000 mtrs ever  been attempted  way back in 1907. The climbing of this peak needs around 26 days and the best time to attempt the peak is from May to June and September to October.

MT. TRISHUL - I EXPEDITION (7120 M | 23360 Ft) itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI (216 M) FLIGHT
Upon arrive in Delhi airport you will be received by our representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Meal: No meal
 
DAY 02: DELHI – RISHIKESH 372M  DRIVE 250 KMS | 6 HRS
Morning after breakfast drive to Indian Mountaineering foundation for official briefing of the Expedition. You will also meet the expedition liaison office there who will assist the expedition with you. Later in the day drive to Rishikesh. Overnight stay in hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner 
 
DAY 03: RISHIKESH - KARANPARYAG - GHAT (1450 M) DRIVE 210 KMS | 7 HRS
Today we will drive to Ghat via Karanparyag and complete the formalities of the expedition. Overnight stay in hotel at Ghat. 
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner 
 
DAY 04:  GHAT - SITEL (BY DRIVE) – SUTOL (2350 M) DRIVE AND TREK
Morning after finishing the legal formalities of the expedition in local office (if pending) and then drive to Sitel where we will start the trek to Sutol village. Overnight stay in camp at Sutol.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 05:  SUTOL - LATAKHOPRI (3080 M) TREK
Today our destination would be Latakhopri It is around 5 hrs trek from Sutol to Latakhopri. Overnight stay in Camp
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 06:  LATAKHOPRI - BASE CAMP (4350 M) TREK
Morning after breakfast we will start trek to base camp, it is also known as HomeKund. Upon arrivel set up the base camp for overnight stay and rest of the expedition.  
Meals:  Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 07-21:   BASE CAMP – SUMMIT – BASE CAMP CLIMBING  PERIOD 
Next 15 days for Establish Higher camp i.e C1, C2 and Summit camp & Attempt to Submit Mt. Trishul I (7125 M) and trek back to Base camp.
Meal: All meals including high altitude food

DAY 08:  ACCLIMATISATION DAY
Acclimatisation day at Base Camp or you can hike around the base camp. Our Guide and Sherpa team will do a Pooja ceremony at base camp for a successful and safe expedition
 
DAY 09:  ADVANCE CAMP (4660 M)
Climb to Advance Camp
 
DAY 10:  ADVANCE CAMP TO CAMP 1 (5160 M)
Climb and establish Camp 1
 
DAY 11 & 12:  ACCLIMATISATION DAYS AND LOAD FERRY
Get acclimatisation for high altitude and Load Ferry
 
DAY 13- 14:  CAMP 1 TO CAMP 2 (5850 M)
Climb up to Camp 2
 
DAY 15 & 16:  LOAD FERRY
Two days for Load Ferry.
 
DAY 17-18:  CAMP 2 TO SUMMIT CAMP (6340 M)
Rope fixing and Climb to Summit camp
 
DAY 17:  SUMMIT CAMP – SUMMIT (7120 M) – CAMP 2
Attempt Mt. Trishul I and back to Camp 2. 
 
DAY 18 & 19: RESERVE DAY FOR SUMMIT 
Two days reserve for the summit.
 
DAY 20-21: CAMP 2 – BASE CAMP
Two days for come back to base Camp. 
 
DAY 22: BASE CAMP - SUTOL TREK 
Today is the day when we windup the base camp and trek back to Sutol. Upon arrival set up the camp for overnight stay. 
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 23: SUTOL – SITEL - GHAT TREK AND DRIVE
Morning after breakfast trek back to Sitel and drive back to Ghat. Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 24: GHAT - RISHIKESH  DRIVE 210 KMS | 6 HRS
Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival check in the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
 
DAY 25: RISHIESH – DELHI DRIVE 250 KMS | 6 HRS
Today we will have our last day of drive when we will drive from Rishikesh to Delhi. Upon arrival check in the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 26: DELHI DEPART 
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to IMF for de-briefing later transfer to IGI airport Delhi to fly back to home.

  • Booking of Mt. Trishul - I with Indian Mountaineering Foundation and Uttarakhand state forest department 
  • Accommodation on twin/double room (sharing) in hotels at Delhi, Rishikesh and Ghat as per program.
  • All transportation by tourist vehicle as per the program.
  • Climbing permit and Expedition fee to Indian Mountaineering Foundation and state Govt. Uttarakhand.
  • Liaison officer fees, Accommodation, Transportation and Meals (Delhi to Delhi). 
  • All meals as per above mentioned program including high altitude food/meal
  • Accommodation in tent during approach march and at Base Camp i.e. one tent for 2 person.
  • Services of climbing guide and high altitude sherpas for route opening, rope fixing and establishing high camps during the expedition.
  • Services of Shikhar Travels Sardar (base camp Manger), Cook and Kitchen helper till and at base camp
  • Use of Satellite phone for emergency use (subject to availability)
  • All necessary kitchen and camping equipment till base camp
  • Climbing equipment i.e. Fix rope, Climbing rope, High altitude tent, Carabiner, Snow bar, Ice piton etc. 
  • We will provide all meals to guests, all staff and Liaison officer during the expedition.
  • Transportation of members luggage maximum 40 Kgs per person Road head to Base Camp and base camp to Road head by porters/pony.
  • First aid kit with Oxygen Cylinder 
  • All currently applicable taxes including GST of 5%

Price Doesn't Include:

  • Personal clothing and gears required for climbing (Personal Climbing equipment)
  • Any kind of insurance.
  • Personal expenses such as table drinks, rooms services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tips etc.
  • Personal high altitude porter
  • Any additional expenses caused by or liability for a disturbance in the trip program due to our circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.
  • Any other service or item which is not mentioned as “Price Includes”.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  1. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is Adventure Travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it. Weather conditions, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns, landslides, river crossings, the availability of Pony/Porter and the health of climbers can all contribute to changes. The Expedition Leader and our Escort will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but an easy going nature will be an asset!
  2. Please ensure your insurance covers you for the heights you are likely to attain and for helicopter rescue as well. When you have chosen, and booked your insurance, please provide SHIKHAR TRAVELS with your Insurers name, their 24 hour emergency telephone number and your Policy number with them.Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.
  3. Our kitchen staff and escort will give you the accompany till base camp

General Conditions:

  • The price is net and Per Person basis.
  • Upon confirmation of the booking we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance amount can be paid 60 days prior to the date of arrival.
  • Class of travel on trains may change based on availability at the time of booking
  • All flight/train timings are based on current schedule and are strictly subject to change
  • All prices are subject to any revision of tax and tariff structure

Cancellation policy:
Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of ‘Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt. Ltd.

For cancellation made 4 weeks prior to the scheduled departure, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 4 weeks of scheduled departure, there will be cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice. 

In certain cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.

Unused Services & Refund          

No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passenger while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.

Refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.

If there is any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.

Responsibility, Liability, Extra Cost, Prices and Brochure Accuracy - Changes and Errors

All the packages are sold under the business management of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes / riots, road block etc.

Governing Law

This conditions and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
