Overview

The Pushkar Fair, is the annual five-day camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is held each November at the time of the Kartik Purnima full moon and is one of India’s most highly rated travel experiences, a spectacle on an epic scale, attracting more than 11,000 camels, horses and cattle and visited by over 400,000 people. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the color, spectacle and carnival of one of the last great traditional fairs, which brings livestock, farmers, traders and villagers from all over Rajasthan.

Pushkar Fair itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi    
                                   
Arrive Delhi by flight. Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner and proceed to your hotel for check in.
 
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 : Delhi

Morning after a relaxed breakfast we will take you to a tour of Old and New Delhi.
In Old Delhi visit to Old Delhi, here you will get to see the famous Jama Majid and have an opportunity to enjoy a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of the and drive pass by Red Fort. Later we will visit Rajghat, Gandhi museum, India Gate and later pay visit to the Qutab Minar.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra (210kms/ 4hrs Drive) 
 
Morning after relaxed breakfast, check out from the hotel & you will proceed to Agra via express way.
 
Assistance upon arrival in Agra, you will be transfer to hotel for checking in & relax.
 
After freshening up, you will proceed to visit Agra Fort & Itmad-Ud-Daulah (baby Taj).

Day 4 : Agra – Jaipur (245kms/ 4-5hrs Drive) 
 
Early morning at 0630hrs you will proceed to visit Taj Mahal in the light of rising sun, the wonder of the world, the beautiful Taj Mahal. This legendary white marble structure was built by another great Mughal ruler, Shah Jahan in commemoration of his love for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
 
Later return to hotel for breakfast.
 
After breakfast, check out at hotel and you will transfer to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri 1-hour drive from Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces in Fatehpur. Later continue drive to Jaipur 4 hours’ drive.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, checking in to hotel and relax.
 
Evening free time to explore the old-fashioned colorful markets in Jaipur.

Day 5 : Jaipur

Today morning, check out at hotel and you will proceed an excursion to the Amber Fort enroute photo stop at Hawa Mahal.
 
In the afternoon, you will proceed to visit the City Palace, Royal Observatory and Jal Mahal.
 
Rest of the day at leisure.
 
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Jaipur – Pushkar (145Kms/ 3hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast, you will transfer by road for Pushkar. On arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 7 : Pushkar Fair

Morning after breakfast check out at hotel and you will proceed for Pushkar Fair Ground to witness spectacle Pushkar Fair preparation.

Day 8 : Puskar – Mandawa (225kms/ 5-6hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast check out at hotel and you will take drive to Mandawa.
 
Upon arrival in Mandawa, you will proceed to hotel for hotel for check in.
 
In the afternoon, you will proceed to visit the Old Havelis, Mansion and Local traditional market.

Day 9 : Mandawa – Delhi (265kms/ 5-6hrs Drive)
 
Today morning, check out at hotel and you will take drive down to Delhi.
 
Upon arrival at Delhi you will transfer to Delhi international airport where you will further connect towards onward destination.
