Rajasthan Incentive Tour itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel. On arrival, as you step into your hotel, ladies in traditional local costumes greet you with the traditional "AARTI" ritual in which the sacred fire is invoked to bless you and you a great trip. As a part of the Arti, a red "TIKKA", also known as the vermilion mark, is applied on the forehead. Proceed to the "COCKTAIL LOUNGE" where your guide will give you a brief picture about your Program. While you enjoy your drink in the lounge, your room keys would be handed over to you.
Day 02: Delhi
Morning we will take you for a HERITAGE WALK. Through the narrow lanes of OLD DELHI. Your walk leader would be your guide who would unfold the colorful history of Old Delhi which goes back thousands of years. Walk from Chandani Chowk - "Silver Square" (Once the center of Delhi), to the various places of interest- just as the Royal Mughals would have done centuries ago. To name a few are Maulana Azad Tomb, Jama Masjid- India s largest mosque, Dariba Kalan (The Silver Bazaar), Kinari Bazaar, Paranthawalla Gali ... The Walk will come to an end with a visit to - THE RED FORT (Monday Closed): Delhi's most magnificent monument was built by Emperor Shah Jehan. Some of the buildings it encloses are Diwani-am, Diwani-Khas, Rang Mahal, The Pearl Mosque etc. Dinner Theme (optional): 'VILLAGE THEME DINNER'. You will be welcomed by Shehnai Music (Shehnai is a traditional wind instrument played on auspicious occasions). A village setting is created with Bamboo Huts, Benches and Stalls. Villagers mingle with guests and display their traditional skills of Doll Making, Pottery, Paintings and other crafts. Entertainment - A performance with dummy horse, dancers and singers. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur By Flight / Coach
Morning after a breakfast, you will proceed to the airport to board flight to JAIPUR: Upon arrival at Jaipur, you will be greeted and welcomed "MAHARAJA STYLE" (As was in the past, when the victorious Maharaja returned from the war, a stunning tavleau of decorated camels and elephants unfold before you on the lawns of the Palace Hotel. Ladies in Rajasthani Costumes perform traditional garlanding, Aarti and Tikka Ceremony while the music of the Shahnai "welcomes you. While you enjoy your Welcome Drink, the room keys will be handed over to you). Later in the afternoon, proceed to Jaipur Polo Ground to participate in the game of "Elephant Polo" one of the ultimate royal experience. Followed by 'Royal bar- be-que Feast 'at pool side.
Day 04:Jaipur by Coach
Morning we will take you to a guided excursion tour to Amber Fort by Elephant: Where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it ultimate refinement This is followed by a city tour of Jaipur covering City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (observatory) In the evening, we will take you to Samode Palace, the 150 - year old Samode Palace stands in the serene sprawling splendor on a hilltop, an hour's drive from Jaipur. Later after royal dinner drive back to Jaipur for overnight stay
Day 05: Jaipur to Agra by Coach
Morning drive down to Agra: (Agra was once the capital of the Mughal empire). En route pay a visit to Fatehpur Sikri the ghost capital built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 06: Agra
Early morning guest will proceed to enjoy the magnificent sunrise view of the Taj Mahal (by decorated Rikshaws / Tonga - horse cart), built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 07: Agra to Delhi by Coach
Morning drive back to Delhi en route photo stop at Sikandara - Built in themIndo - Saracenic style, Akbar's tomb at Sikandara. Arrive Delhi and in the evening enjoy your dinner with a theme Open Air Mughalai Bar-be-que - "Tandoori" is a clay oven which imbuse the food cooked in it with aunique flavor. The host would present "Momento" as a token of love before escorting the group to the international Airport to board flight for onward destination.
