Day 1: Chandigarh to Rampur Bushahr (Drive 240Km 6/7Hrs)
Arrive at Chandigarh, “The City Beautiful”. Meet our representative at the airport/station and begin the scenic drive to Rampur Bushahr, the gateway to the Kullu region. Evening check-in at a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Rampur Bushahr to Singhad (38Km 1/2 Hrs +05Km Trek)
Drive to Jaon village, the trek base. The spiritual Yatra begins with a 5 km uphill hike to Singhad, passing through forest trails and local dhabas. Camp or stay in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Singhad to Thachdu 07Km Trek
Start early to reach Thachdu, crossing the gushing Barathi Nala en route. The trail is steep and forested, filled with chants of “Om Namah Shivaya”. Rest at the campsite under the stars.

Day 4: Thachdu to Bheem Dwar via Kali Ghati (11km Trek)
Today’s trail is challenging but divine. Climb Kali Ghati, a steep ascent followed by a descent into Bheem Dwar, believed to be shaped by Bheem (from Mahabharata). Ancient inscriptions known as Bheem Lipi are seen on large rocks.

Day 5: Bheem Dwar to Parvati Bagh - Shrikhand Mahadev - Parvati Bagh
Cross rare Himalayan flower fields in Parvati Bagh (home of Brahma Kamal) and snow-patched valleys. Halt briefly at Nain Sarovar, a lake born of Mata Parvati’s tears. After a steep climb, get the Darshan of Shrikhand Mahadev, a towering Shiva Linga at 18,570 ft.
Return to Parvati Bagh for the night.

Day 6: Parvati Bagh to Thachdu (Trek 15 Km)
Begin your descent back through the same route to Thachdu, cherishing the divine experience of having completed this sacred journey.

Complete the final leg of the trek with a light-hearted descent to Jaon village. Relax, share your stories, and soak in the last views of the Himalayas.

Drive back to Chandigarh, completing your memorable spiritual adventure.

Ans: The best time to undertake the Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is during the official Yatra season in the month of June & July, typically from the first to the third week. This is when the snow has melted enough to allow safe passage, and the Himachal Pradesh government declares the trail open for pilgrims and trekkers.

Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt. Ltd.
For cancellation made 4 weeks prior to the scheduled departure, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 4 weeks of scheduled departure, there will be cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.
In certain cases the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.
Unused Services & Refund
No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passenger while travelling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.
Refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.
If there is any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
Responsibility, Liability, Extra Cost, Prices and Brochure Accuracy - Changes and Errors
All the packages are sold under the business management of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes / riots, road block etc.
Governing Law
These conditions and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
