Your royal journey aboard the Maharajas’ Express begins with a warm welcome and registration at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, at 08:30 hrs, followed by a tour briefing. At 09:45 hrs, proceed to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Railway Station to board the Maharajas’ Express.
The train departs for Udaipur at 10:50 hrs. Enjoy a leisurely lunch on board at 13:00 hrs and spend the remainder of the day relaxing and settling into your luxurious surroundings. Dinner will be served on board at 19:00 hrs as your extraordinary journey through the heritage of India commences.
Day 2 (Monday): Udaipur
Begin your day with breakfast on board at 07:30 hrs. The Maharajas’ Express arrives in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, at 08:30 hrs. At 09:30 hrs, proceed for a scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola, followed by visits to the magnificent City Palace and the Crystal Gallery, showcasing the grandeur of Rajasthan's royal heritage.
At 13:00 hrs, enjoy an exclusive lunch at the elegant Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace, a heritage hotel overlooking the lake. Return to the comforts of the Maharajas’ Express at 15:00 hrs and spend the afternoon relaxing on board or participating in optional activities. Dinner will be served on board at 19:30 hrs, and at 21:20 hrs, the train departs for Jodhpur.
Day 3 (Tuesday): Jodhpur
Enjoy the changing countryside views while having breakfast on board at 07:00 hrs. After some leisure time on board or optional activities, arrive in Jodhpur at 10:00 hrs.
Lunch will be served on board at 13:00 hrs. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort at 14:30 hrs. The excursion also includes a charming Tuk-Tuk ride and a walking tour through the vibrant Old Clock Tower Market, offering a glimpse into the local culture and traditions of the Blue City. At 17:30 hrs, enjoy an exclusive cocktail dinner at Khaas Bagh, a heritage property. Return to the train at 20:30 hrs, and later the Maharajas’ Express departs for Bikaner at 23:45 hrs.
Day 4 (Wednesday): Bikaner
Arrive at Deshnok at 07:30 hrs, where you have the option to visit the famous Karni Mata Temple, popularly known as the Rat Temple. Breakfast will be served on board at 08:30 hrs as the Maharajas’ Express proceeds towards Bikaner.
Arrive in Bikaner at 09:30 hrs and spend some leisure time on board or participate in optional activities. Lunch will be served on board at 13:00 hrs. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Junagarh Fort at 14:30 hrs, followed by an excursion to the sand dunes. Return to the train at 20:30 hrs, and the Maharajas’ Express departs for Jaipur at 21:40 hrs.
Day 5 (Thursday): Jaipur
Enjoy breakfast on board while admiring the countryside as the train approaches Jaipur. Arrive in the Pink City at 08:15 hrs and proceed to visit the magnificent Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan's most iconic landmarks, renowned for its impressive architecture and royal history.
Following the sightseeing tour, proceed to the iconic Rambagh Palace for an exclusive lunch at 13:00 hrs. Return to the Maharajas’ Express at 15:00 hrs and spend the remainder of the day relaxing on board or enjoying optional activities. Dinner will be served on board at 19:30 hrs. At 23:00 hrs, the Maharajas’ Express departs for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore).
Day 6 (Friday): Ranthambore – Fatehpur Sikri
Begin your day with an exciting game drive through Ranthambore National Park at 06:15 hrs. One of India's finest wildlife reserves, the park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
Return to the train at 09:45 hrs and enjoy breakfast on board. At 10:15 hrs, the Maharajas’ Express proceeds to Fatehpur Sikri. Lunch will be served on board at 13:30 hrs. Arrive at Fatehpur Sikri at 14:45 hrs and proceed to explore the deserted Mughal city at 15:00 hrs. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated for its remarkable Mughal architecture and fascinating history. Return to the train at 18:00 hrs and enjoy a special Indian-themed evening followed by dinner on board at 19:30 hrs.
Day 7 (Saturday): Agra – Delhi
Arrive in Agra at 06:00 hrs and proceed to visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a timeless symbol of love. After the visit, return to the comforts of the Maharajas’ Express at 10:00 hrs and enjoy breakfast on board.
At 10:40 hrs, the Maharajas’ Express departs for Delhi. Lunch will be served on board at 14:00 hrs as you enjoy the final leg of your journey. At 16:30 hrs, disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express, bringing your unforgettable journey through India's royal heritage, culture, and architectural treasures to an end.
