Day 1: Arrival in Chamonix
Arrive in Chamonix, the legendary alpine town at the foot of Mont Blanc. Meet your Shikhar expedition team, attend a full guide briefing, and get settled into your hotel or chalet. The mountains are waiting tonight, the adventure begins.
Day 2: Transfer to Gran Paradiso Region
Travel to the stunning Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy. After a scenic transfer, you begin a steady acclimatisation hike up to your mountain hut, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude in preparation for tomorrow's summit attempt..
Day 3: Climb Gran Paradiso (4,061 m)
An early alpine start as you make your bid for Gran Paradiso Italy's highest peak and the perfect acclimatisation objective before Mont Blanc. Cross the glacier, reach the summit at 4,061m, soak in the sweeping Alpine views, and descend to the hut for a well-earned rest.
Day 4: Return to Chamonix
Travel back to Chamonix and spend the afternoon resting and recharging. Your guide conducts a full equipment check, confirms the weather forecast, and briefs the team for the Mont Blanc ascent starting tomorrow. An early night is strongly recommended.
Day 5: Begin Mont Blanc Ascent
Board the iconic Tramway du Mont Blanc and begin your ascent towards the Tête Rousse Hut (3,167m) or Goûter Hut (3,835m), depend
Day 6: Summit Day (4,808 m)
A 2:00am start. Ascend through the Dôme du Goûter and along the spectacular Bosses Ridge to the summit of Mont Blanc at 4,808m the highest point in Western Europe. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views across the Alps before carefully descending back to the hut.
Day 7: Descent to Chamonix
Complete your descent from the mountain and return to the valley. Tonight, Shikhar hosts a celebration dinner in Chamonix a well-deserved moment to reflect on your achievement, share summit stories, and raise a glass with your team.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfers are arranged to Geneva Airport or your onward destination. You leave Chamonix with a summit certificate, lifelong memories, and the pride of having stood on top of Western Europe.
