Markha Valley Trek itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Leh
On arrival, assistance by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Day free for acclimatization. Overnight in Guest House, Leh

Day 2: Leh
After breakfast, walk up to the Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace, then return to the hotel for lunch. Later, enjoy free time for leisure activities in Leh. Overnight in Guest House, Leh

Day 3: Leh - Chilling – Sara – Markha Village
Altitude: 3,700 M | Drive: 65 kms | Trek: 03 km
Morning check out from the hotel and drive to Sara, cross the Zanskar river, and follow the rough road to Sara, the landscape is very fascinating and unique. On arrival, start your trek to Markha Village. Walk into the beautiful Markha Valley, pass the bushes and small wooden bridges along the Markha River. Markha is the largest village in the valley with around 20 households. Upon arrival, set up the camp. We can also visit an old monastery nearby in the evening.

Day 4: Markha - Thachungtse
Altitude: 4,010 M | Trek: 13 kms | Time: 07 - 08 hours
Today, after breakfast, trek to Thachungtse. We shall be crossing the river and come across Hankar en route to Thochuntse. Hankar is the highest village in the Markha Valley. If the weather is good, we can see Mt. Kang Yaze today. Dinner and overnight stay in a tent at Thachungtse.

Day 5: Thachungtse - Nimaling
Altitude: 4,900 M | Trek: 10 kms | Time: 05 - 06 hours
After breakfast start your trek to Nimaling (4900m). We will be crossing a number of gentle slopes and a chain of glassy ridges. Nimaling a place with green pasture where during summers, you can spot thousands of sheep, goats, yaks grazing and prayer walls. Towards the south is Kang Yatse (Nimaling Peak) (6400m). Overnight stay in tents.

Day 6: Nimaling - Kangmarula - Chakdo - Leh
Altitude: 5,200 M | Trek: 13 kms | Time: 07 - 08 hours
Morning after breakfast start up-trek to Kangmaru-la (5260 m). the highest point of the trek, From the top you will see the colorful praying flags with the majestic view of Mount Kang Yatse I & II and you can also access your phone after 4 days long trek, descend on the other side to Chakdo. From Chado board the cab and drive to Leh.

Day 7: Leh Departure
Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to your hotel.
