Day 1: Ahmedabad
A fresh morning is apt to start your day at the very famous Textile City of Ahmedabad, which is well-connected through its adjoining Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Airport located at a distance of 9 kms from the main city. The city is served by its two major railway stations that include Ahmedabad Junction and Sabarmati Junction. There are many affordable yet good quality hotels near every entrance to this beautiful textile city ever welcoming you for a great journey ahead.
Check-in to any budget hotel of your choice and a little rest after arrival in the City is enough to charge you for the day, and by the noon time, you are ready to explore the very famous Gandhi Ashram. Other attractions of this City include Akshardham Temple (closed on Monday), Adalaj Step Well, and the very famous Hathe Singh Jain Temple. Your glorious day at Ahmedabad ends with an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2: Ahmedabad – Jamnagar - Dwarka (470 Kms / 9.5 Hrs)
Wake up the very next day for a planned visit to Dwarka and en-route to have the luxury of visiting the very famous LakhotaLake and make a room for praying at Bala Hanuman Temple in Jamnagar. By late evening, one can drive his way to Dwarka where you can check-into a hotel to keep the belongings in safe custody before attending the evening Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple before retiring to bed for an overnight stay at Dwarka.
Day 3 – Dwarka Local Sightseeing
The next morning is apt to start the day and plan for local sightseeing. The Dwarka City has enough to offer to the visitors in the form Nageshwar Temple, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka Temple, and Rukmini Temple apart from the holy Dwarkadhish Temple. The day ends with an overnight stay here.
Day4: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (250km/5hrs)
The day will start with a scrumptious healthy breakfast, and after having the health down the belly, next you will be driving to Somnath, through Porbandar, where you can have a religious retreat at the Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple that will take you through the devotional spree, Then, you will be driving to Somnath, check-in to the hotel and have some rest and feel rejuvenated thereafter.
Next you will be visiting the Bhalka Tirth Temple, and attend the evening Aarti at the Somnath Jyotirling(This happens to be one of the 1st among the 12 Jyotirling Shrines of Lord Shiva.) Get all set for an evening enjoyment while visiting the Light and Sound Show at the Somnath Temple. You can have a good-night-sleep at the hotel.
Day 5: Somnath to Ahmedabad Drop
The final day of the journey to have remembrances, memoirs, and good takeaways from the trip! You can go to the Ahmedabad Airport to board the flight back home or Ahmedabad Railway Station to board the train for your hometown.
