Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu
Meet our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, explore Thamel Street, known for its lively restaurants, shops, and trekking gear outlets. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 – Kathmandu to Soti Khola via Arughat (8–10 hrs drive)
Drive along the Kathmandu–Pokhara highway, passing rural villages, green terraces, and river valleys with views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Himal. Overnight in Soti Khola (720 m).
Day 3 – Soti Khola (720 m) to Machha Khola (900 m)
14 km | 7 hrs
The trek begins through sal forests, terraced fields, and along the Budhi Gandaki River. Pass the Gurung village of Labubesi and cross a suspension bridge before reaching Machha Khola. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 4 – Machha Khola (900 m) to Jagat (1,370 m)
22 km | 7 hrs
Trek through gorges and ridges, crossing the Tharo Khola and passing a natural hot spring. Continue on a rocky trail across suspension bridges to reach Jagat, a beautiful stone village. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 5 – Jagat (1,370 m) to Deng (1,804 m)
19 km | 7 hrs
Cross forests, rivers, and small hamlets, gradually climbing through a steep gorge and bamboo groves before reaching the village of Deng. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 6 – Deng (1,804 m) to Namrung (2,630 m)
20 km | 8 hrs
Cross the Budhi Gandaki River and trek uphill through alpine forests and culturally rich villages. This section highlights the Tibetan influence of the region. Overnight in Namrung.
Day 7 – Namrung (2,630 m) to Samagaon (3,530 m)
18 km | 8 hrs
Trek past Lihi, Sho, Lho, and Shyala villages, surrounded by spectacular views of Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal, and Peak 29. Arrive at Samagaon, a charming Sherpa settlement. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 8 – Samagaon (3,530 m) to Samdo (3,875 m)
16 km | 6 hrs
Descend to the Budhi Gandaki and follow mani walls before ascending towards the Tibetan border region. Pass juniper and birch forests before reaching Samdo, a picturesque mountain village.
Day 9 – Rest & Acclimatization in Samdo (3,875 m)
Take an acclimatization hike to nearby ridges for panoramic views of Manaslu, Simrang, Himchuli, Cheo Himal, and Tibetan plateaus. Overnight in Samdo.
Day 10 – Samdo to Dharamsala (4,460 m)
11 km | 5 hrs
Cross the old trading route at Larke Bazaar, then follow the Budhi Gandaki River towards the Larkya Glacier. Ascend gradually to Dharamsala (also called Larkya Phedi). Overnight at a high-altitude teahouse.
Day 11 – Dharamsala to Bimthang (3,590 m) via Larkya La Pass (5,135 m)
24 km | 9–10 hrs
A challenging but rewarding day. Climb across moraines to the Larkya La Pass, marked with prayer flags and offering views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II. Descend to the beautiful valley of Bimthang. Overnight in
teahouses.
Day 12 – Bimthang (3,590 m) to Tilije (2,300 m)
16 km | 6 hrs
Descend along ridges with views of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu, crossing rhododendron and pine forests to the Gurung village of Tilije. Overnight in teahouses.
Day 13 – Tilije (2,300 m) to Syange (1,080 m)
Continue through terraced farmlands and subtropical forests, gradually descending to the village of Syange. Overnight in teahouses.
Day 14 – Syange to Kathmandu (9–10 hrs drive)
Drive back to Kathmandu via Besisahar. Enjoy your last evening in Thamel for shopping or cultural shows. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 15 – Departure from Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
